Personal Thoughts:

This is very much another Korean romantic-comedy, but a very well presented and delightful one. I literally said, "This is such a good film." several times while watching it. Maybe I just fell in love with the characters, like most viewers do when watching a romantic comedy, but somehow this film was more than just your typical romantic comedy. First of all every scene is very artistically presented; I constantly wanted to pause and just take a snapshot of each scene. The comedy is very much like most korean films, and I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. The plot and concept itself is very interesting and ditches the fairy-tale like romances and makes something more realistic and comical. Just watching how the Cyrano Agency scripts the love stories is hilarious and simply enjoyable to watch. The storyline is not predictable, which is a relief after the too many bland and unoriginal movies I've seen lately, however it does some unconventional things, such as reveal characters in the beginning of the film that rarely show up again (you'll see when you watch it) and when you feel like, there may be the end of the film, there's another scene ahead. But because I enjoyed the film so much, I never minded that the film did not end so soon. This felt like a long film and it somewhat is at about two hours running time, but mostly it felt like that because its spans many different events that take place. The cast was very well picked, as they all compliment each other well and I'm quite sure they are rising actors and actresses. (or old ones with experience hehe) I never felt any meaningful commentary on our humanity or anything inspirational, so if that's what your looking for you won't find it here. However, this is a comical and lovable film that I would definitely not mind watching again.. and maybe again.
